QUICK LIT BITE OF THE DAY!

Jean Cocteau-was a French poet, novelist, dramatist, designer, boxing manager, playwright, artist and filmmaker. His circle of associates, friends and lovers included Pablo Picasso, Jean Hugo, Jean Marais, Henri Bernstein, Marlene Dietrich, Coco Chanel, María Félix, Édith Piaf, and Raymond Radiguet.

Quote by Jean Cocteau: "The actual tragedies of life bear no relation to one's preconceived ideas. In the event, one is always bewildered by their simplicity, their grandeur of design, and by that element of the bizzare which seems inherent in them."
