QUICK LIT BITE OF THE DAY

Jane Bowles-was an American writer and playwright. In 1943 she published "Two Serious Ladies." However, Bowles most famous works was a play she wrote titled "In The Summer House." The play was performed on broadway and opened to mixed reviews. She's considered by Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams, and John Asbery as one of the finest and most underated writers of American fiction.
